Task & Responsibilities Lead and support team members by assigning tasks, monitoring their work, and offering training to improve skills in sales and customer service. Ensure a smooth customer experience by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and managing returns in a professional and efficient manner. Maintain accurate pricing, attractive product displays, and adherence to company safety and security procedures. Manage inventory, including monitoring stock levels, coordinating deliveries, tracking discrepancies, and conducting regular stocktakes to prevent overstocking or shortages. Supervise the receiving and handling of deliveries, ensuring all items meet quality standards and discrepancies are addressed promptly. Support financial processes by tracking sales transactions, preparing stocktake documentation, and assisting with reporting during financial periods. Prepare staff schedules to meet operational demands, ensuring adequate coverage during peak times and smooth workflow throughout the store. Enforce workplace safety and security protocols, ensuring both employees and customers operate in a safe environment. Collaborate with the Manager to develop staff performance, resolve workplace challenges, and support the store’s overall success. Qualification & Experience AQF Certificate II or III (ANZSCO Skill Level 4) Proven experience in a retail supervisory role or similar position, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively. Solid understanding of inventory management, stock control, and merchandising principles. Good organizational skills, with the capability to manage schedules and prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in using retail management systems and basic computer applications. Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays, as required. A high level of attention to detail and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
