Our focus is on traditional Moroccan bathing rituals, designed to cleanse, rejuvenate, and restore balance to both body and mind. We are seeking an energetic, dedicated, and self-driven massage therapist to join our busy team.
You will be responsible for:
As a Massage Therapist, you will play a key role in enhancing our clients' well-being and relaxation. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of providing exceptional service and a tranquil atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
• Perform a variety of massage techniques, including acupressure, soft and deep tissue, and aromatherapy, tailored to individual client needs.
• Conduct thorough client consultations to understand health concerns, preferences, and specific areas of tension.
• Maintain accurate client records, including treatment notes and progress updates.
• Collaborate with the team to develop new treatments and spa offerings that align with our Moroccan wellness philosophy.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the treatment rooms and communal areas in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Handle client inquiries and scheduling professionally.
• Promote spa services and products to enhance client experience and business
growth.
• Maintain a positive and calming atmosphere for clients, fostering relaxation and
well-being.
Skills and Experience Required:
• Minimum of 3 years of extensive experience in massage therapy.
• Expertise in various massage modalities, such as remedial, deep tissue,
aromatherapy, Thai, hot stone, and sports massage.
• Anatomy Knowledge: Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology to effectively target muscle groups and identify areas of tension.
• Client Management: Ability to build rapport with clients, creating a comfortable and trusting environment.
• Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage appointment schedules and ensure timely treatment sessions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills to consult with clients, understand their needs, and provide aftercare advice.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to cleanliness and safety standards in treatment areas.
• Physical Stamina: Good physical condition to perform massages for extended periods without fatigue.
• Teamwork: Capability to work collaboratively with other wellness professionals in a team-oriented environment.
• Continuous Learning: Willingness to stay updated on new techniques, trends, and products in the wellness industry.
