Southern Cross Care QLD have an opportunity for you to join our SCCQ family as an Aged Care Worker in the role of a Personal Carer - Night Shift based at our Illoura Village Residential Aged Care Home in Chinchilla, in the Western Downs region of Queensland. We currently have 1 Full-time permanent role available to fill immediately.
Working under the direction of the Enrolled & Registered Nurses, as a Personal Carer you will be providing person centred, high quality care to our residents. You will demonstrate compassion, sensitivity and maturity to provide personal care to our residents, including bathing, dressing, toileting and other support services depending on the individual residents' needs.

- Competitive pay rates as per Southern Cross Care (Qld) - Aged Care Enterprise Agreement 2024 with starting rate of $32.19/h and above with applicable loadings depending on qualifications and experience

-Full time role working 38 hours a week
-Regular working hours, including night shifts 10 pm - 6 am

Additional roles may include Lifestyle, Catering Assistant/Cook and/or Domestic Assistant.
What will you bring to the role?
-You will hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent
-Medication Assist Competency (desirable)
-You are dedicated to caring for older people to live their best lives
-You will work well within a team environment and have a friendly approachable manner
-Strong attention to detail and outstanding communication skills
-You must be available to work night shifts but have flexibility to work other shifts if required
