Our client is the largest protein manufacturer in Australia and is located in Yanco NSW 2703. They are known for producing the finest quality products in the world.
Full-time 38 hours per week. 12 months of work on offer
40 roles on offer ranging across all processing floors - no experience required.
Starting pay is $24.61/hour (Level 3 of the Site Enterprise Agreement) with additional payments/penalties as per the Meat Industry Award. Progressing to higher levels is based on satisfactory skill evaluation. Roles start in March 2025.
Applicants must be fit, as the job entails repetitive lifting, movements and standing in an upright position for the entire shift. Potential to upskill and progression opportunities.
A dedicated training team to provide on and off-the-job training
Monday to Friday 5am to 2pm. Flexibility to work these hours is essential.
The role
Manual and repetitive labour, with lifting up to 20kg
Working with raw meat products
Packing/Labelling/Boxing products
General cleaning
Weighing meat products
Transferring carcass sides, which involves pushing and pulling
Operate packaging machines.
Work in cold temperatures
Working in dirty and smelly conditions
Adhere to food safety and quality assurance requirements.
Ability to listen to and follow instructions.
Attention to detail
Be punctual and reliable.
Criteria
Work well in a team environment
Safety conscious and able to follow workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
Guaranteed commitment to shift times, being flexible and punctual
Ability to conduct physical work in hot and cold environments
