Complete Office Supplies Pty Ltd (“COS”) is the largest Australian owned and operated office product company, delivering thousands of products to businesses across Australia with warehouses in every state and territory. COS is seeking a full-time Accountant. The Accountant will work in our head office in Lidcombe, New South Wales, and will report to the Senior Accountant.
The salary offered is $73,150 per annum plus super.
The tasks and the responsibilities of the Accountant will include:
• Complete general ledger operations.
• Assist with preparation of month-end and year-end management accounts.
• Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts.
• Manage the day-to-day account operations of group associated entities.
• Assist with year-end closings and coordinate with audit process.
• Assist with preparation of year-end financial statements.
• Preparation and lodgements of monthly BAS, IAS, FBT Return and Income Tax Return.
• Assist with annual financial budget for the company.
• Preparation of cash flow forecasts.
Skills and qualifications expected of the applicant:
• Bachelor of Commerce/Accounting and Finance or other relevant degree.
• At least 2 years of full-time work experience in a similar role.
• Preferably CPA/CA qualified.
• Prefer experience with MYOB, Xero and Excel.
