Task & Responsibilities
• Perform engineering duties including overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures, and facilities, such as roads, drainage, and water and sewage systems.
• Provide construction estimates, quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor.
• Preparation of project program, proposal submission for tender.
• Quality check, Site Inspection, filling Inspection and test plan (ITPs), test booking.
• Weekly preparation of progress reports and meeting with clients
• Payment claim submission for every project
• Analyze and interpret survey reports, construction drawings and design changes.
• Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety/sanitation standards.
• Provide technical advice regarding design, construction methodology, or program modifications.
• Identify engineering and construction constraint / problems and assess the potential impact of projects.
• Provide support to the projects team in both Civil and Hydraulics Contract Administration responsibilities
• Provide assistance and guidance to project managers and the broader team on commercial and contract obligations and future projections for Contract variations.
• Liaise with project teams on their procurement requirements.
What we're looking for
• Civil Engineering qualification with at least 2 years of experience working
• Knowledge and experience in drainage and water civil infrastructure projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Accountability to set goals and drive achievement.
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft office, in particular Microsoft Project, AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit
• A high level of planning and organisational skills, coupled with attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• A positive and proactive ‘can do’ attitude.
• A learning mindset.
• The ability to get involved, whilst also contributing to a dynamic team environment.
