Autosports Group is looking for a committed Assistant Accountant to join our team. This role will be responsible supporting the accurate and timely collection, preparation and reporting on all transactions. Based at our dealership in Leichhardt, you will be reporting to the Financial Controller.
Some specific responsibilities of the role include:
Processing of new and used car deals
Processing daily banking, including Daily cash, cheques and EFTPOS banking
Prepare monthly general ledger reconciliations
Prepare and process refunds & other transactional items.
Assist in the timely completion of month end procedures
Assist in the preparation of financial year end and preparing all relevant supporting documentation for the auditors and any other ad-hoc yearend requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
A degree /diploma in Accounting or a related field is preferred
1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance
