Payroll Co-ordinator required for Not-for-Profit Organisation. Your new company Hays Recruitment Townsville is pleased to partner with a state-wide, Not-for-Profit Organisation, to offer an exciting leadership opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Payroll Officer. This is a 6-month temporary role, however for the right candidate will transition into a permanent position. Your new role As Payroll Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for the management and organisation of your team, processing and assisting with all payroll requirements, (including a change to payroll runs, employee leave and termination payments) guaranteeing all employees are paid correctly and on time, ensuring all compliance & legislation that governs the terms and conditions of employment in Queensland are met, and resolving any payroll issues discretely. What you'll need to succeed We are seeking a passionate and team-focused payroll professional, with previous experience in management & leadership and also to possess the following:
Previous experience with Aurion (highly desirable)
In-depth knowledge of end-end payroll processes and payroll compliance
Excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail with precise data entry skills
