Task & Responsibilities System Analysis and Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, analyze current systems, and design solutions that improve efficiency and support Dunsteel’s capabilities. Process Improvement: Evaluate existing business processes related to steel fabrication, project management, and workshop drafting; identify areas for improvement; and implement optimized workflows. Project Management Support: Assist in developing project plans, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure successful implementation of system enhancements. Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation, including system specifications, process maps, and user manuals, to support system changes and user training. Training and Support: Provide training and support to staff on new systems and processes, ensuring smooth transitions and user adoption. Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans to ensure system changes meet business requirements and maintain data integrity. Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units, facilitating clear communication and understanding of system capabilities and limitations. Qualification & Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably within the manufacturing or construction industry. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with business process modelling, project management software, and ERP systems. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong stakeholder relationships. Organisational Skills: Effective time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
