THE ROLE
We seek an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join our growing Power Projects Team in a full-time, permanent role based in Dandenong . Reporting to the Team Manager for Power Controls, you will be responsible for key aspects of control systems and SCADA work across Downer's projects in both the renewables and utilities sectors throughout Australia. This role will involve direct engagement with our clients on multiple projects, focusing on analysing and negotiating customer requirements, architecture design, equipment selection, document preparation, on-site commissioning, and support activities.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
Commissioning control systems, including preparing and executing Factory and Site Acceptance Testing.
Design of control systems, including client requirements analysis and development of key design documents.
Prepare detailed functional descriptions for all aspects of SCADA integration.
Coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders, including teams from various disciplines.
