The Role
They are seeking a full time Engineering Technologist to join their team in Darra in QLD. The ideal candidate will support engineering projects by applying technical knowledge and engineering principles to design, develop, and implement solutions. You will work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
This is for a full-time position at an annual salary between $75,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation.
The Responsibilities
Assist in the design, development, and testing of engineering projects.
Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
Conduct experiments and analyse data to support project objectives.
Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot issues and optimize processes.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Participate in project planning and coordination meetings.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of project activities.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology.
The requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering technology or a related field.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar field
At least 2 years proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Engineering Technician) are a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
