Cook (Full time, Permanent)

Russian Jacks Restaurant at the Halls Creek Motel, Halls Creek WA 6770, are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to the craft of cooking, possess a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Your will:
• Prepare and cook meals as per orders.
• Ensure use of quality ingredients.
• Follow recipes and set menus.
• Monitor stock and order supplies.
• Minimize wastage.
• Use and clean kitchen equipment.
• Estimate and cook bulk orders.
• Adhere to kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
And you will have:
• a relevant qualification in the form of an AQF Certificate III with at least two years of on-the-job training, or an AQF Certificate IV, or another acceptable trade qualification, or at least 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of a qualification.
• at least 1 year of additional relevant full-time work experience in addition to a qualification listed above.
• proficiency in preparing a variety of cuisines and cooking techniques.
• strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• the ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• excellent teamwork skills.
• the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• full-time working rights.
An annual remuneration between $73,150 to $74,000 plus superannuation and terms and conditions as per the applicable award will be paid to the right candidate.
