SNELLING STAFFING IS HIRING FOR AN EXPERIENCED METALLURGICAL LAB TECHNICIAN FOR OUR AUTOMOTIVE CLIENT LOCATED IN CLINTON TOWNSHIP, TEMP TO HIRE, 2nd SHIFT, $/HOUR The Metallurgical Lab Technician operates and maintains Test Equipment to validate induction heat treated products to meet customer requirements. The Metallurgical Lab Technician will perform all requirements of the job in a safe and efficient manner to achieve and maintain the desired output. Metallurgical Lab Technician Functions:
Maintains a neat, orderly, safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Drake/Customer safety standards and practices, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concerns.
Sets up the test machines, and positions work pieces for processing as directed.
Follow progress of work and investigate causes of delay or inadequate performance.
Propose necessary adjustments to the heat treat process to achieve required results.
