Your new role As an APS5 Senior Executive Assistant, you will provide high-level administrative support to senior executives within the department. Your responsibilities will include managing complex schedules, coordinating high-stakes meetings, preparing detailed documents, and handling highly confidential information. You will be the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and efficient operations. You will also take on a mentorship role to junior EA's within the team. What you'll need to succeed
Exceptional organisational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and other relevant software
Ability to handle highly sensitive information with utmost discretion
A proactive and adaptable approach to work
Significant experience in an executive support role is highly desirable
Ability to obtain and maintain a baseline security clearance
Demonstrated experience as an Executive Assistant within the Federal Government
