Swick Mining Services are seeking an experienced Drill Fitter to join our Maintenance team at our South Guildford yard, in support of our nationwide, site-based Operations division.
The Role
Duties are (but not limited to) the following:
Servicing, maintenance and fault finding on underground Diamond Drilling equipment
Ensure all servicing, repairs and testing is completed and paperwork returned to scheduler.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on drill rigs.
Maintain underground drilling equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Coordinate with teams, communicate effectively, and ensure seamless drilling operations.
Participate in ordering and maintenance of relevant parts/stock
Management of costs and quality of repairs being undertaken
Daily completion report and submission of time sheets
