You'll develop and manage water use plans, optimise water systems, and monitor water quality. Your work will drive research, support policy development, and advise on key strategies. You'll also lead research on water management issues, particularly for First Nations communities, ensuring their values are integrated. Build strong relationships with diverse partners, develop influential policy briefings, and tackle water reform challenges with innovative solutions. Ability to communicate effectively, build and maintain constructive and respectful relationships with First Nations People
High level research, analysis skills and writing skills, including the ability to articulate complex matters in briefings to a range of internal and external audiences.
Essential requirements for this role
Tertiary qualification in natural resource management, economics, or social sciences relevant to the management of water resources
Desirable requirements for this role
Experience working with First Nations groups in cultural and natural resource management, environmental and/or social sciences or related discipline
