The Aviation, Land and Maritime Transport Program provides specialised, high value meteorological services that contribute to the efficient and effective operation of aviation activities within the Australian Flight Information Region and the Asia-Pacific Region. We are seeking experienced and motivated senior forecasters/team leaders to join our meteorological teams within the Aviation Operations section, these include:
Brisbane Aviation Forecasting Centre (AFC);
Melbourne Aviation Forecasting Centre (AFC);
Hazardous Weather Unit (HWU) in Melbourne; and
The National Operations Management Centre - Meteorology team (NOMC-MET) in Melbourne.
These teams work 24/7 shifts and provide aviation professionals with high-quality meteorological products designed specifically for the aviation sector.
