The Occupational Therapist is to deliver expert treatment and care to addiction and psychiatric patients. As well as being a passionate and boundaried individual Responsibilities:
Facilitate group sessions in the therapeutic programme
Conduct individual sessions with patients
Conduct conjoint sessions with patients families
Participation in all groups to gain an understanding of the programme and be able to facilitate various groups when required
Assessment of patients
Carry out administrative tasks
Report writing
Liaise with multi-disciplinary team
Requirements:
Degree in Occupational Therapy with a valid HPCSA registration
Up-to-date Malpractice Insurance
Experience within an addiction and/or psychiatric environment/hospital
