Role Overview: We seek an experienced and self-sufficient Fitter to join our client's team for day shift operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quarry maintenance, a relevant trade qualification, and be skilled in using various tools and equipment. This role requires working independently and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance and repair work on quarry machinery, including conveyor belts and pumps.
Operate and maintain tools.
Ensure all equipment is in safe working condition and perform preventative maintenance.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues with quarry equipment.
