This 6-month temporary role is to join a large financial institution. They are looking for an experienced Settlements Officer due to an internal project.
This is an exciting opportunity to have exposure to one of the most impressive financial institutions worldwide.
Key tasks include:
Ensure the timely matching, confirmation and settlement of a wide range of products including but not limited to Equities, Fixed Income, Repos, NCDs, Swaps, Swaptions and cash products
Confirmation and settlement of future cash flows associated with the different products
Investigation and resolution of failed trades and cash breaks
Key liaison for custodians, dealers, brokers and front office in relation to booking and settlement issues
Instructing the setup of new trading counterparties in the operations system (Dimension)
Assess current processes with a view to making changes to increase efficiency, reduce risk and improve delivery to stakeholders
