Golden West Apprenticeships in partnership with the Murweh Shire Council are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to commence as an Engineering Trainee. The purpose of this Engineering Traineeship in Charleville is to provide the successful applicant with the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge through completing on the job working experience and training with an employer whilst completing a nationally recognised course of training through a registered training organisation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Engineering traineeships opens lots of doors! Engineering trainees work under the guidance of a Manager or Supervisor. Following the traineeship you can use your skills and knowledge as a pathway for further studies in engineering. Day-to-day tasks may include: - undertaking engineering surveys, designing and drafting for Council's construction programs including roads, kerbs and channel and underground drainage - reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings
