About the role
ARC (The Australian Reinforcing Company) are looking for a Trainee Scheduler/Detailer to join the team in Hemmant ! You will be supporting our supply of reinforcing steel to varied projects across multiple segments of the construction industry. In this role we will provide ample training and support for an individual passionate about starting their career in the steel and construction industry. You will interact directly with customers and internal departments, to determine customer needs and ensure accurate supply of reinforcing steel to projects of all sizes. Key responsibilities:
Co-ordinate customer requirements in conjunction with Sales, Planning, Production and Operations to accurately forecast customer construction projects
Generate bar, cutting and bending lists from reading structural and architectural drawings
