Key Responsibilities:
1. Surface Preparation: Prepare walls and floors by cleaning, leveling, and smoothing surfaces to ensure optimal adhesion.
2. Tile Installation: Cut, shape, and lay tiles accurately using tools like tile cutters, ensuring precise alignment and spacing.
3. Grouting & Sealing: Apply grout and sealants to secure tiles and protect against moisture, delivering flawless finishes.
4. Pattern Execution: Create intricate tile patterns or designs as per project specifications, showcasing attention to detail.
5. Repairs & Maintenance: Replace or repair damaged tiles and ensure surfaces maintain their structural integrity.
6. Worksite Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all safety guidelines and procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
To excel in this role, you’ll need a combination of technical expertise and a passion for craftsmanship.
1. Qualifications: Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling or equivalent.
2. Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional experience in wall and floor tiling, preferably across a variety of projects.
3. Skills: Proficiency in reading plans, cutting tiles accurately, and executing intricate patterns.
4. Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia.
