Role
UCR is looking for skilled mechanics who can aid in equipment maintenance of appliances such as ovens, gas ranges/stoves, etc. They will do so whilst working within the team at UCR and be able to understand instructions from others and collaborate with their team members.
Work will usually be conducted on the client’s premises as you will install, maintain, and repair electronic business equipment relevant to the service industry. All work will be conducted in accordance with safety regulations and in a professional manner that reflects the values of UCR. The delivery of reliable, efficient and safe routine preventative maintenance is essential in being able to provide quality results.
Responsibilities And Duties:
• Examining and testing machines, equipment, instruments and control systems to diagnose faults.
• Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop & maintain a close and collaborative working relationships across the Maintenance, Production, Planning and Engineering teams.
• Liaise with Production Supervisors and machine operators about performance of equipment.
• Adjusting, repairing, and replacing worn and defective parts and wiring, and maintaining machines, equipment and instruments.
• Carry out routine checks and planned maintenance to retain the efficiency of machines.
• Perform fault finding and diagnostics on mobile and fixed plant equipment.
• Advising users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions.
Skills And Qualifications
• AQF Certificate III or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
• 3 years of work experience.
• Ability to handle repairs and maintenance of service equipment.
• Hardworking, positive attitude.
• Ability to work within a team and independently.
Australian citizens and permanent residents encouraged to apply.
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000
