MCR Tech Pty Ltd are seeking Electrical Engineering Technician's for Immediate start's in and around the Sydney area.
- Full-Time position with a minimum 38 hours per week with overtime available.
- Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum plus super and overtime available - Depending on experience.
- Experience required: Certificate III and 2 years' work experience or 3-4 years' work experience
Job Objective:
- The Electrical Engineering Technician must be able to conducts tests of electrical systems, prepare charts and tabulations plus assists in estimating costs in support of Electrical Engineers and Engineering Technologists.
The ideal candidates must possess:
- Industrial / mechanical background
- Previous service and maintenance experience
- Flexibility
- Motivated and able to self - manage
- Work well within a team
- Strong customer focus
- Computer literate
Job Tasks and Duties:
- Preparing drawings, plans and diagrams of electrical installations and circuitry.
- Assisting Electrical Engineers and Engineering Technologists in design and layout of electrical installations and circuitry on substations, switchgear, cabling systems and motor control systems.
- Collecting data, performing tests and complex calculations, graphing results, and preparing charts and tabulations.
- Estimating materials costs and quantities.
- Inspecting designs and finished products for compliance with specifications and regulations.
- Undertaking electrical workshop functions such as installing assemblies for protection relays, metering and indicating devices.
- Assisting with research and experimentation programs.
