We are seeking a talented full-time stonemason to join our dedicated team. As part of a collaborative environment, the successful candidate will contribute to the design, cutting, and installation of stone surfaces, playing a key role in delivering elegant and lasting finishes for clients across Sydney. BenefitsTask & Responsibilities Reporting directly to the Site Manager, we are seeking a Stonemason who will be responsible for the following tasks and duties:  Reading and interpreting architectural and shop drawings. Determining the materials and equipment needed for the project. Perform with a high level of quality craftsmanship, polishing, cutting out and installing stone to joinery items and large format slabs to bathroom walls. Mixing grout and cement. Cutting and shaping stones to desired dimensions. Laying stones according to construction plans or project specifications. Operating cranes, hoists, or heavy machinery to move stones (preferred but not required). Designing and crafting decorative stonework, including cutting and engraving lettering on monumental pieces to achieve detailed and precise finishes. Performing repair and maintenance work on stone surfaces, including identifying damage and applying appropriate restoration techniques.       Qualification & Experience Qualifications, Experience and Abilities required: Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Stonemason particularly with granite, marble, limestone, onyx, quartzite and travertine Ability to read and interpret construction plans Ability to visualise and implement aesthetic patterns into a construction design Familiarity with stone cutting, shaping, and binding tools Physically strong and able to manipulate heavy objects Ability to work outdoors and in noisy areas for extended periods of time   If interested in above position, please apply at [email protected] Salary: $80000-90000 Job Publish: 19-11-2024 Job Expire: 19-12-2024 Please click to View more detail / apply .
