Primary responsibilities:
Manufacture engineering components using a range of workshop machines including lathes, milling machines, planers, drills etc.
Installation and monitoring of plant and equipment
Basic troubleshooting of equipment breakdowns, and fault finding
Participate and support the preventative maintenance programs
Provide direction and guidance in the workshop areas, including support of apprentices
Apply fabrication skills as required
Our ideal candidate will have:
Completed Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering (Fitting Turning)
Experience using the full range of workshop machinery
Good organisational, planning
