The early childhood teacher must ensure the playroom environment is highly stimulating. This means it meets all standards, regulations, and guidelines. This includes providing high-quality resources and experiences for children that aid in all areas of their development. You’ll need to have a strong understanding of all health and safety policies and procedures that are relevant to childcare settings. This includes safeguarding, emergency, and security procedures. You must also ensure all staff understand any health and safety policies relevant to their role and can follow procedures effectively. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing, implementing, and evaluating a developmentally appropriate program for individual children or groups of children in care. Also responsible for recording analytical observations of individual children or groups of children for program planning purposes.
Skills and experience
Must be Bachelor-qualified or enrolled in and working towards a Bachelor of Early Childhood. Graduates are encouraged to apply
The role requires enthusiasm and a willingness to be flexible.
Must have current Blue Card, First Aid, and Anaphylaxis.
Salary range - $80 000 plus per annum
