Franks Oilfield Services (Aust) Pty Ltd (a subsidiary of Expro Group Australia) is a leader in the Australian Oil & Gas Industry for the provision of Casing & Tubular Running Services.
We are currently recruiting for a highly experienced Field Service Technician to join our growing team.
The scope of the role involves providing maintenance, repairs, overhaul, diagnostics and condition monitoring services on specialised equipment for clients in the Oil and Gas Industry.
The position is based at our Kenwick workshop with work in remote field locations as required.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for operating our complete service line including Casing Running Tools, Power tongs, Computer Torque Monitoring Tubular
- Supervision and several other technical products and services
- Provide excellent customer service and assurance that the services we provide meet customer’s expectations
- Maintain and perform repairs on equipment while on the rig
- Taking a leading role in safety meetings at the rig site, follow company policies, completing JSA’s, and conducting Hazard Assessments that include the safe operation of our equipment.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within the oil & gas industry, ideally TRS/Casing equipment.
- Mechanical Aptitude.
- Willingness to travel and work in remote locations offshore.
- Hold a valid passport.
- Valid MSIC, CSTP, CA-EBS and Offshore safety & training (BOSIET or Equivalent) is preferred.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Recognised Trade certification in an appropriate discipline (highly regarded).

$73,500 to $80,000 guaranteed earnings plus superannuation and operational bonus
