Your Role as a Carpenter:
As a valued member of the Premiercarps Construction Group team, you will play an essential role in bringing our projects to life. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Construction Tasks: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to complete carpentry tasks for residential and commercial projects.
2. Framing & Fit-Outs: Build, install, and repair structural frameworks, including walls, floors, roofs, and doors, ensuring precision and quality.
3. Joinery Work: Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials to create custom pieces and finishes.
4. Maintenance & Repairs: Conduct maintenance and repairs on existing structures, ensuring their longevity and safety.
5. Tool Handling: Safely operate a variety of tools and equipment, maintaining them in excellent working condition.
6. Site Preparation: Collaborate with the team to prepare construction sites, ensuring safety and organization.
7. Compliance: Ensure all work meets Australian building codes and standards, prioritizing safety and quality at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
To succeed in this role, you will need to bring your expertise and passion for carpentry to the table. We’re seeking a candidate who has:
1. Qualifications: Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent.
2. Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Carpenter in residential or commercial construction.
3. Skills: Strong technical skills in framing, fit-outs, and custom joinery. Knowledge of building codes and standards is essential.
4. Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia.
5. Attributes: Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team. A proactive attitude with a commitment to high standards and safety practices.
