We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our Business Services division in a Manager/Director role. This is a crucial leadership position, offering the opportunity to take the helm of a team that is currently navigating a period of transition due to recent instability in leadership. If you're a strategic and empathetic leader with a passion for turning around teams, driving growth, and fostering long-term client relationships, this role is for you.
This position is ideal for someone who is ready to step in, provide stability, and make a significant impact on the team's performance and culture. You will play a key role in rebuilding trust, enhancing team morale, and driving the business forward through strong leadership and new business development.
Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Stabilization : Step into a team facing high turnover, providing immediate leadership, guidance, and stability. Your leadership will be key in rebuilding a positive and collaborative team culture. Foster an environment of trust, transparency, and professional development.
Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, offering high-level advice on business operations, financial strategies, and growth initiatives. Ensure continuity of service and maintain client confidence during this period of transition.
Business Advisory : Offer expert guidance on key business decisions, including financial structuring, tax strategies, and business expansion. Be the trusted advisor that clients can rely on, especially during times of change.
Strategic Planning & Execution : Lead the development and execution of strategic business plans for clients, ensuring alignment with their financial objectives and long-term goals. Identify opportunities to enhance service offerings and deliver additional value.
Financial Management : Oversee the delivery of high-quality financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for clients across a variety of industries.
New Business Development : Drive the growth of the business by identifying, pursuing, and converting new business opportunities. Lead pitches and proposals to expand the client portfolio and generate revenue.
Team Development & Retention : Work closely with HR and senior leadership to ensure that the team is supported, engaged, and retaining top talent. Focus on long-term team development and reducing turnover by building a culture of stability, growth, and mentorship.
Market Positioning : Contribute to the firm's visibility by attending industry events, publishing insights, and engaging in marketing initiatives to enhance brand presence.

Key Requirements:

Extensive experience in business services, accounting, or related fields, with a proven track record of managing client relationships and leading teams through periods of change.
CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification is essential.
Strong technical knowledge in business advisory, taxation, accounting, and financial management.
Proven success in new business development, with the ability to generate leads, close deals, and drive revenue growth.
Demonstrated leadership experience in turning around teams or departments facing challenges, particularly with high turnover or instability.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.
A strategic thinker with a focus on team stabilization, growth, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture while managing client expectations and delivering quality outcomes.
