My Gateway has a fantastic opportunity for a 1st year plant mechanic apprentice to start in with Manitou Australia based in Lidcombe. Manitou Australia has a first-rate reputation in the industry, which offers a wide range of new, and used Manitou machines plus after-sale needs. You will be working on telehandlers, masted and truck mounted forklift trucks, aerial work platforms, articulated loaders, backhoe loaders and compact loaders. Some of the duties will include: General workshop cleaning, assisting in preparation of new machines, assist in service and repairs of machines - on site assistance for repairs/breakdowns. Driver's licence and white card are essential for this role. Our client is looking for someone who is mature minded, can learn new skills quickly and is genuinely interested in the trade.
