About the Role
As a Managing Consultant at Dataly Actuarial, you will be a key player in delivering exceptional actuarial services to clients in the Australian financial services and life insurance industry. Qualified as a FIAA actuary (or equivalent) with a minimum of five years' work experience, including experience in Australian life insurance, you will bring substantial competency and experience in actuarial and finance works such as valuation, Prophet, IFRS17, product development, and/or Experience Analysis. The role demands your subject matter expertise, leadership, and developmental contributions for client services and internal business development.
Your responsibilities will include assisting and advising clients in areas like valuation, capital, financial reporting, and IFRS17. Leading, coordinating, and supporting junior team members in managing and/or supervisory capacities, you will actively contribute to the team's professional development. The role involves translating technical analysis for business consumption and collaborating on projects outside your core specialty. A strong emphasis on technical skills, business acumen, and effective communication with clients and internal management is paramount.
About You
Qualifications: FIAA actuary (or equivalent) with a minimum of five years' experience, including experience in Australian life insurance.
Expertise: Significant competency and experience in actuarial and finance works, covering valuation, pricing, and reporting.
Regulatory Knowledge: Excellent understanding of the life insurance regulatory framework in Australia.
