Vulnerability Scanning Specialist (Rapid7)
We are looking for an experienced Vulnerability Scanning Specialist with expertise in Rapid7 to join our team. This role focuses on configuring and deploying Rapid7 across cloud platforms, server OS, and network infrastructure to enhance system security.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Rapid7 setup for Azure, AWS, server OS, cloud apps, and network scanning.
Manage asset discovery and internet-facing system scans using Rapid7 Surface Command.
Optimise Rapid7 configuration and integrate with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR).
Collaborate with stakeholders to align solutions with business needs and architectural standards.
Support project planning, risk mitigation, and technical issue resolution.
Skills & Experience:
Strong Rapid7 experience, especially in cloud (Azure, AWS) and network environments.
Proficient in asset discovery tools and integrating external threat intelligence.
Familiar with AWS Security, Azure Defender, and Agile methodologies.
