We are looking for a suitably qualified experienced Plumbing Surveyor or Graduate Plumbing Surveyor to join the Building and Plumbing team. You will be required to act as a permit authority, assess and issue permits and deal with plumbing compliance matters as they relate to Councils obligations under the Building Act .
The successful applicant will have:
A sound understanding and experience of the Building Act and associated regulations and be proficient in interpreting and assess working drawings against relevant legislation.
Well-developed problem-solving skills and a commitment to offering quality customer service.
Qualifications required:
Certificate III or IV in Plumbing and hold a current Tasmanian Plumbing Licence.
Position Hours: Full-Time, 75 hours fortnight. To attract the right candidate the hours for these positions are negotiable and requests for flexibility are welcomed.
Salary range: $81, to $100, plus
