Centacare has a workforce of more than 3,000, plus volunteers, and operates in many locations, supporting tens of thousands of people each year. We are currently seeking permanent part-time Disability Support Workers to support people in SILs, Centres and other services across Aspley, Taigum, Michelton, North Gate, McDowall, Stafford, Nundah and nearby surrounding suburbs in Brisbane North. Overview of the role:
24-hour care model, meaning combination of shifts are available morning (from 6am), afternoon (from 2pm), weekends and sleepovers.
Assist participants with the range of personal activities including hygiene support, medication assistance, manual handling, domestic assistance & meals.
Follow specific positive behaviour support plans.
