A family-owned dry land broad acre cropping farm at Tipton, near Dalby in southern Queensland has a position available for a Trainee Farm Hand working across all aspects of the business. The farm grows cereals and pulses, and cotton crops depending on the season.
In this position you will expand your cropping skills and knowledge by working with the farm team and learning as you go; your duties will vary from day to day depending on the needs of the season including general farm maintenance, basic mechanical maintenance, and machinery operation.
The farm is looking for a worker with exposure to operating Ag machinery who is currently undertaking or recently finished Agricultural or other relevant training, or a worker who can demonstrate transferrable skills training and experience who has a strong desire to learn cropping skills.
