BAR ATTENDANTS
Hamilton Island, Whitsundays, Queensland is seeking Bar Attendants to live and work in paradise with several roles available.

Your Role
• Full time permanent positions under Hospitality Industry General Award
• Provide a high standard of food & beverage service in an enthusiastic and friendly manner.
• Maintain Hamilton Island’s consistent standards of excellence
• Develop your career under industry professionals
• Live on island position
• Hourly rate $25.80 per hour as per the Hospitality Industry General Award.
• Rotating roster of 76 hours per fortnight. Hours of work will be between 10.00am to 12pm, Monday to Sunday.
Responsibilities
• Supply, dispense and mix liquor and other beverages ensuring the use of the outlet’s standard recipes
• Undertake general waiting duties for beverages; provide table service where possible, or where required
• Cashiering duties (receiving money and charging customers correctly for items purchased) and cash reconciliations
• Ensure that the outlet and surrounds are kept clean and tidy at all times; prior to, during and after service periods
• Prepare all Mise en Place and stock the bar ensuring adequate stocks are available for the beginning of each shift
• Prepare requisitions according to the outlet policy on par stock, on a daily basis
• Maintain stock control records; ensure accuracy with any stock transfers
• Maintain accurate reports on sales, spoilage and breakages, and end of shift balancing, on a daily basis
• Perform opening and closing duties as requested by supervisor or manager
• Team effectiveness – act as a positive influence and work as part of a team
• Work, Health & Safety (WHS) – follow all HIE WHS policies & procedures
• Undertake any other tasks as directed by your manager

You have “can do” attitude, always willing to go above and beyond to provide our guests with an exceptional level of friendly and efficient service that makes them want to return again, and again. You have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a close-knit team.
