• Monitor and maintain the quality, taste, and presentation of dishes to meet high standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, including proper food handling and storage.
• Manage inventory of kitchen supplies and order ingredients as needed.
• Control portion sizes and food wastage to optimize costs and profitability.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Assist in training new kitchen staff and develop their skills in cooking techniques.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery to customers
Skills Required
• Proficient in cooking techniques and food preparation, with at least 2 years of experience.
• Ability to design innovative dishes and seasonal menu items based on customer preferences.
• Efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ensure food is prepared and presented to high standards, maintaining consistency.
• Knowledgeable in safe food handling, hygiene practices, and workplace safety regulations.

• Hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
