We don’t just build custom design cranes, we have a wide selection of readily available cranes for sale too. We are a proud wholly Australian owned and operated company with almost 35 years experience in the crane industry. We are currently seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Blaster Painter to join our hardworking team in Dandenong South VIC 3175.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
- Surface preparation of steel for painting, safely using chemicals and a range of hand tools
- Clean, wash, strip, sand, remove corrosion, fill dents or otherwise prepare fabricated steel items for application of paint and or other protective coatings
- Operate various equipment, such as blast pots and spray guns
- Knowledge of various painting methods and applications
- Sandblasting, abrasive and chemical techniques, masking and etching of applications
- Ability to read and interpret blueprint, sketches and drawings
- Safe operation of tools and equipment
- Grinding, sanding and polishing of steel
- Understanding of painting, caulking and sealing and putting them in to practice
- Ability to apply all types of coatings using various application methods
Skills & Abilities:
- Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application or relevant
- Ideally have 3 years’ experience within relevant or similar field
- Ability to work in a team environment
Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience
