About Us
Kelly Club Australia Pty Ltd provides Before School Care, After School Care and Holiday Care programs throughout Victoria. Our aim is to provide not just "a childcare facility", but to run programs in a safe environment that entertain and inspire our future generations. Our goal is to give children opportunities to do the things they love and enjoy in a supportive and encouraging environment. We use a professional program model that is fun and promotes children's wellbeing, learning and development. Programs are focused on sports, cooking, games, discovery, and arts and craft activities as well as relaxation time around a busy life at school. Children are encouraged, educated and entertained during their time in our programs.
The Role as the Childcare Centre Manager you will be managing programs and delivering activities, on a weekly basis, to children in Orchard Grove, Victoria, as well as supervising a small team of Educators. The education facility is surrounded by trees, is well equipped with a large space provided for Kelly Club programs. As the Childcare Centre Manager, you'll be friendly and communicative with the children's families as an extension of the school's inbuilt culture.
You'll deliver a remarkable service to support families and an average of 30 to 50 children, per session currently, in Before School and After School Care Programs, and Holiday Programs. Reporting to the Area Manager, the essential purpose of the Childcare Centre Manager is to deliver a fun and interesting program. This will be achieved by providing an inclusive and supportive environment where children are safe, engaged and well supervised.
This is a full-time position.
The annual salary is $73,231 plus superannuation.

Duties –
- Develop, plan and implement a stimulating, educational childcare program
- Maintain a child safe environment for all children
- Assist children in routine tasks
- Manage and develop your team
- Communicate effectively with staff, families and children
- Complete general administrative tasks
- Perform other duties as required Skills and Experience
Qualifications –
At least a relevant Bachelor qualification or above in a relevant field plus two years of full-time post-qualification experience in the relevant position OR at least 5 years of experience in the relevant position can substitute for formal qualifications plus two years’ experience.
Valid Working with Children Check (before commencing)
Current First Aid HLTAID012, CPR, Anaphylaxis Management and Asthma Management training (before commencing)
Current child protection training and strong knowledge of child safe standards

Kelly Club Childcare Centre Managers are individuals who are passionate about working with children and want to pursue their dreams by continuing their growth in the early education sector. You are qualified, or currently undertaking a relevant qualification, have experience in running programs with school aged children and supervisory experience in any sector. For example, OSHC, school teaching, school camp programs, sporting programs, or the like. Most importantly, you are personable, enthusiastic, driven, ambitious, and have the natural ability to communicate and engage with people. You're also well organised and can prioritise your administration, childcare and employee supervisory responsibilities. You will demonstrate an ability to deliver a safe, caring and engaging program for primary aged boys and girls, motivating them to join in and have fun. At the same time, you have the ability to discern what things need to be documented and reported in order to ensure compliance.
