Our client, well established in the service industry is looking for a payroll officer to join its team.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working within a team, you will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following duties:
Process weekly/fortnightly payroll runs
Processing adjustments pertaining to leave accrual, RDOs, termination.
Attending to payroll queries by internal and external stakeholders
Assisting with preparing weekly payroll reports.
Investigation of time management system discrepancies and/or anomalies
Preparation of worksheets to support superannuation payments, payroll tax remittances and Work Cover remuneration statements
General Administrative duties
Understanding of awards and ATO legislation.
The successful applicant will have:
Experience in managing end to end payroll runs within a medium to large organizations.
A good understaning of awards
4 years of solid experience in payroll locally
