Boral are seeking an experienced Senior Plant Attendant to join our Cement team based in the Berrima plant . Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the main responsibilities of the role will be the routine testing of cement, lime and associated raw materials.
To be successful in this role it is critical to demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement, attention to detail and a willingness to undertake training in production processes relevant to the role
Your day will involve:
Management of incoming and outgoing samples Sample preparation crushing, splitting etc Testing of cement, lime and associated raw materials for chemical, physical and performance parameters including: Particle Size Analysis (Fineness Index, Sieving) Chemical Analysis (XRF) Compressive Strength Setting Times Available Lime Index Slaking Recording, interpreting and verifying own results Use of the computer based Laboratory Data Management System Maintenance of laboratory equipment,
