On behalf of Vermeer Equipment, we are seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our team.
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns to support the growth and visibility of Vermeer Equipment of WA & NT. This includes promoting the company’s range of industrial equipment and machinery, enhancing brand awareness, and increasing customer engagement within the industrial, construction, utilities, mining and tree care sectors in Western Australia & Northern Territory.
This particular role requires a strong understanding of both traditional and digital marketing tactics, combined with industry-specific knowledge to effectively promote Vermeer’s products, parts & servicing.
Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Planning
1. Work closely with the Managing Director to develop marketing strategies that support the company’s goals and objectives.
2. Create & execute annual marketing plan for Vermeer Corporations Brand Ambassador program.
3. Conduct market research & competitor analysis regularly & provide insights & recommendations to enhancing marketing efforts based on findings.
Digital Marketing & Online Presence
1. Optimize & manage Vermeer WA & NT’s website & social media channels, using insights to maximise ROI & Brand Awareness
2. Develop digital marketing content such as blogs, case studies, email mail-outs
3. Liase with & direct outsourced SEO efforts
Brand Management & Advertising
1. Oversee all digital & traditional promotional campaigns to ensure Brand Guidelines are being adhered to
2. Coordinate/Create marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, banners to ensure brand consistency across all advertising
Event Management and Coordination
1. Plan & coordinate Industry events, tradeshows, demonstrations & training days across WA & NT
2. Work closely with Sales Team & other relevant departments regarding product displays, lead generation, promotions & post event follow ups procedures for each event/show.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
1. Develop & maintain relationships with key customers & industry leaders, suppliers & partners to facilitate marketing growth
2. Support the Sale, Parts & Service Departments by ensuring marketing efforts are aligned with their goals & KPI’s
3. Social Media engagement across all platforms
Reporting & Analysis
1. Monitor & report on efficacy of all marketing campaigns
2. Use data analytical tools & programs to provide insights & track ROI
3. Prepare quarterly & years reports for Managing Director & Vermeer Corporation
Qualifications:
Education: A Bachelors Degree in a related field
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a professional marketing role – ideally in an industrial, machinery or equipment based sector
Desirable Skills:
• Digital Marketing Tools – Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, Ads Manager, Social Media Platforms
• Experience with CRM’s & marketing automation tools – Pipedrive, MailChimp
• Graphic Design Software – Adobe Creative Suite, Canva
Additional Information:
This position is based in Perth, WA, with occasional travel to NT for events, clients meeting & trade shows.
- Salary : $ 93,500.00
- Experience : at least 2 years.
