Recruitment 24/7 has a vacancy for an Experienced Production Area Manager for our Wacol based manufacturing client. To be considered for this role you must have experience in the food industry, as this is a competitive and lean production environment. There is a generous salary on offer of $100,000 for an applicant that meets the requirements of the role. This role is in a fast paced, food grade facility with FMCG and GMP standards. The role requires a strong presence across all shifts and the flexibility to work various rosters and days. The successful applicant will be a highly motivated and results orientated person who is able to meet most of the following criteria:
Educating, coaching, engaging, and developing the team to achieve and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) related to delivery, operational efficiency (OEE), safety, and quality.
Ensuring the production schedule is adhered to, with countermeasures implemented, as required, to manage day-to-day production and employee issues.
Ensure that safety, quality, and people outcomes are delivered with the company values embedded in the daily operations.
Foster a Safety First culture through daily huddles, toolbox talks and ensure compliance with regulations, working closely with Health & Safety.
Develop Team Leaders technical and personal skills through sound leadership and training, including the effective implementation of the Company's performance management systems.
Management of Raw Materials, WIP and Finished Goods.
Manage the compliant and cost-effective use of permanent and casual staff for the area, including minimising overtime, when possible, and the effective rostering of worker contracted hours.
