The PumpHouse, Kununurra's premier waterfront restaurant showcasing the region’s best views and produce, is seeking to appoint 2 Restaurant Supervisors.
This opportunity is based in Kununurra, the gateway to the East Kimberley, surrounded by breathtaking scenery, rock formations, and waterways. This established town has a major supermarket, restaurants, primary and secondary, Tafe, medical centres and hospital and an outdoor drive-in theatre.
About the role
Your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
• Provide a high level of support to the Restaurant Manager to induct, train, lead and motivate personnel
• Manage the front of house shift operations, ensuring compliance with procedures, company culture and optimum management not achieve a high customer satisfaction
• Ensure the presentation, operation and security of all departments of the restaurant
• Assist in the development of operational procedures and manuals to drive consistent performance
• Provide friendly and attentive service to guests and responding to customer complaints and feedback appropriately
• Deliver shift operations in line with approved roster, budgets and timesheets
• Assist with administrative duties as directed by Restaurant Manager
• Handle customer complaints and feedback and action appropriately
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislative and company requirements
• Adhere to all policies and procedures while actively participating in meetings and learning and development opportunities
About You
• Minimum 2 years Food & Beverage experience in a full service a la carte establishment
• Previous experience in a supervisory role is preferred
• Wine and cocktail knowledge with the ability to confidently provide appropriate pairing to customers
• Self-motivated with a positive outlook and ability to foster a strong and collaborative team culture
• Hold a current Approved Managers Licence
• Hold a current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence
• Be confident in the use of MS Office Suite and POS Systems
• Have flexibility to work across a weekly roster, that including nights and weekends
