Salary Information:
- $85,000 to $95,000 per annum (excl. superannuation)
Core objectives:
The Gas and Hydronic Heating Installer will contribute to the current team of Melbourne Hydronic Heating (MHH), focused on the installation and maintenance of gas appliances, hot water systems, and associated piping systems downstream of the billing meter. This role will primarily serve the domestic and light-commercial sectors in the Melbourne region.
Qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Gas Fitting or plumbing or at least three years of relevant experience

Main tasks required in the role:
- Install gas mains, gas appliances, and heating systems
- Maintain and repair existing gas piping systems and appliances
- Troubleshoot and repair any broken parts, pipes, or systems
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers requiring gas installation services
- Ensure clients are informed and agree to all methods and applications required to facilitate installations before commencing work, especially involving the removal or relocation of existing materials, fixtures, or fittings.
- Report job progression on a daily basis to the Managing Director
- Work with the Managing Director to manage labour and material requirements
- Undertake gas service work when required
- Uphold the professional image of Melbourne Hydronic Heating in all dealings, including maintaining clean, tidy corporate clothing, company vehicle, language, and behaviour.
- Uphold and implement all Occupational Health & Safety requirements, including proper use of tools, equipment and personal protective clothing.
- Budgets are managed responsibly and are met.
- Report all issues to the Managing Director in a timely manner.
- Undertake other duties that may arise from time to time.
