About the Role
We are looking for an Arboriculture Senior Researcher responsible for undertaking the following:
• Undertaking research in the use of Tree Growth Regulators with Australian Tree Species
• Undertake research to introduce additional products for pest and disease affecting Australian amenity trees
• Assist in the registration of new products through the APVMA
• Development of training programs for clients to undertake applications
• Collect efficacy data to further inform the Cambistat product label through the APVMA

We have full time work available in the Greater Melbourne Region with an attractive remuneration package is being offered for an Immediate start.

Skills and Experience

Essential
• Bachelor Science (Forestry, Urban Forestry, Arboriculture) or closely related field
• 5 years practical experience in the monitoring of the effectiveness Tree Growth Regulator
• 5 years’ experience in observing, diagnosing and managing tree health conditions
• 3 years’ experience in using Tree Growth Regulators to enhance tree health
• Demonstrated experience in the use of GIS software
• Excellent tree identification throughout temperate and tropical eco-systems
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in report writing
• A desire to learn new technologies
• A commitment to working safely and productively outdoors
• Hold a current Manual Driver Licence



Desirable
• QTRA or TRAQ qualified
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40122
