Role Description:
As a Production Operator, you will play a key role in operating machinery and equipment to assist with the recycling, processing, packaging, and quality control of materials along our production line. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe, efficient, and clean work environment, while ensuring that all products meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate Production Machinery: Set up, calibrate, and monitor recycling and waste processing equipment, making adjustments as necessary for smooth operation.
• Maintenance and Cleaning: Schedule and perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery to ensure optimal function and prevent breakdowns.
• Quality Control: Inspect processed materials, collect samples, and conduct quality control checks to ensure they meet recycling and waste management standards.
• Product Dispatch: Prepare recycled materials for dispatch, ensuring proper labeling and documentation for client delivery.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Previous experience in a production or recycling environment is highly regarded.
• Ability to operate and maintain industrial machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality assurance.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for minor machine adjustments.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to all waste management regulations.
