The Bakery Alice Springs is looking for a qualified pastry chef for daily production. We are a small artisan bakery using high quality ingredients, specialising in sourdoughs, artisan breads, French style pastry and desserts.
Applicants must have knowledge and experience in all aspects of croissant and Vienoisserie production. Experience with bread is an advantage.
Applicants will have knowledge and experience using common industry machinery and equipment, and a willingness to work nights and weekends. NT drivers licence would be an advantage.
This is a Level 5 position in accordance with the prevailing award with salary adjustments upwards based on experience. Penalty rates apply, 4 weeks annual paid holidays plus superannuation. Ideal candidates will have a long term availability (2+ years).
